Hawaii is a famous place for mixing East and West cultures.
People and foods are melted heartily.
In regular groceries you can find an “Asian Section” and will also and a large selection of Tofu.
Maui also has an “Open Asian Vegetable Market” in Kahului town, many Filipino Grocery Stores and some Japanese Stores.
There you will find many unfamiliar foods.
